It’s All About Family at CBW…

We take pride in the attention to detail and family environment created while at Cooperstown Baseball World. We hope that after your experience, you feel the same way!

Debra Reed

President

With CBW from day one, Debra has worked her way through the ranks becoming President and the main source of communication throughout your year of planning. With 24 years of youth baseball experience, she has planned events all over NY and NJ as well as assisted in various start-ups with CBW’s original CEO and founder, Eddie Einhorn. From questions about rules, orders, or accommodations, she’s the person to talk to. She carries on the late Einhorn’s vision to give all kids the opportunity to play baseball in Hall of Fame country! During her 24 years at CBW, Debra has welcomed teams from 48 different states and 10 countries from around the globe.

Debra is married to her husband Mike, who is a teacher and helps out each summer at Cooperstown Baseball World as well.  Her two boys also have begun working at the tournament and you are sure to see them all summer long!  When not in season, they all reside in New Jersey.

Pat has been with CBW for the past 23 years, first as an umpire and now as their main director, for all on-campus games. Any questions about rules or games throughout your week, Pat’s your guy! You will often see him zooming around on his Gator while maintaining fields 1-4 on campus.

When Pat isn’t working at CBW, he is a High School History and Civics teacher, and H.S. baseball coach. Pat is married with 3 children and lives locally in Oneonta, NY

Matt Hafele

Matt has been with CBW for all 24 seasons. Formerly an umpire as well, Matt will be your main source for rules and grounds for all off-campus games. Matt works specifically with our older age players and brings fun to each game. From the music he plays downtown to how he interacts with the families, he will make your week at CBW something to remember.

When not working at CBW, Matt is the Athletic Director for a nearby school district. Matt is married, with two children and lives in the nearby town of Otego.
