Tournament Outline


$1,300 Per Player and/or Per Coach
Required to bring an umpire; no umpire fee: $1,200/team

12U, 13U, 14U, 15/16U  

Dormitory at SUNY-College at Oneonta (2 players per room, 2 coaches per team (minimum) as monitors – Resident Hall monitors, Security Office in next building, Infirmary in Dormitory.

3 meals per day provided by CBW catering service (Box meal if you have back to back games). Meals start with Saturday night dinner and end with Thursday lunch.


  • 7 games (weather permitting)
  • Individual Skills Competitions with awards after each event

11U – 12U: Base paths: 70 ft. Pitching Mound: 50ft.
13U – 16U: Base paths: 90 ft. Pitching Mound: 60ft 6 inches

Each team must bring its own uniform(s) and equipment – we want you to wear your own uniform with pride representing your team, league, city, and state.

Each team is required to bring an umpire with them.  Applications for prospective umpires are on our website under the “Umpires” section.  They must be submitted for approval by March15th of your tournament year.

On Saturday evening, after your arrival and check-in, we will have a “SCOUTS TRYOUT” whereby we will be conducting the same skill tests that they use at professional tryouts: 70 or 90 yard dash (dependent upon age division), throws from outfield for accuracy, throws from infield for velocity, catcher throws for accuracy, and an Around the Horn team competition. The Home Run Derby is the final event.

Max 12 teams for 12u and max 12 team tournaments for 13-16u
All teams play a minimum of 8 games (weather permitting)
Teams are put into one of two or three pools


Each team plays 5 pools games (the day you only have 1 game is also your day to visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame)

Sunday — 1 or 2 Pool Games
Monday — 1 or 2 Pool Games
Tuesday — 1 or 2 Pool Games

Seeding for the tournament is based upon the team records in pool play.
